NAG at Western University

Noma Action Group - Western University Chapter

We are thrilled to share that Western University has launched their Noma Action Group (NAG) chapter for the year, and they have already been making an large impact.

Their most recent event was an information session that introduced fellow students to noma, and the enthusiasm and curiosity from their classmates was wonderful to see. The chapter has found both creative and meaningful ways to raise awareness on and off campus. They designed buttons to wear at the Toronto Marathon, hosted a screening of Restoring Dignity by Fabricer Catérini, and NAG’s Claire Jeantet, and have been attending talks from our speakers over Zoom.

Beyond events, the Western team is actively spreading awareness throughout their school and thinking of new ways to educate their peers about noma and the communities it affects.

We are so grateful to have them as part of this community, and are delighted to see everything they accomplish.
